The Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) course is designed for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies. This course emphasizes the importance of high-performance team dynamics and communication, systems of care, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes

Course Format: The course uses a series of simulated clinical scenarios to reinforce important concepts. Upon successful completion, participants receive an ACLS course completion card from the American Heart Association, valid for two years.
