Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP)

The Neonatal Resuscitation Program is an educational program designed to teach an evidence-based approach to resuscitation of the newborn to hospital and prehospital staff who care for newborns at the time of delivery, including physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and paramedics. The course is based on simulation methodology, enhancing the development of critical leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.

Course Format: The NRP course combines interactive learning and simulation-based education, emphasizing hands-on practice to develop skills. Participants engage in scenario-based assessments using high-fidelity manikins to simulate real-life situations. An  NRP Pre-Online exam and practical evaluation complete the course requirements, after which participants receive an NRP certification valid for two years.
